Celebrating a journey spanning five decades of trust and partnership with the Jordanian society, Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) has launched its Golden Jubilee campaign under the slogan “50 Years Among Our People”, a national campaign that embodies the strong relationship the Bank has built with its customers and communities across the Kingdom’s governorates, while reaffirming its continued commitment to supporting individuals, businesses, and the national economy.

At the heart of the campaign is the production of a comprehensive national music album featuring 12 songs, each dedicated to one of Jordan’s governorates and performed by Jordanian artist Omar Al-Abdallat, “The Voice of Jordan”. The artistic work celebrates the people of each governorate, along with its cultural and social heritage, reflecting the Kingdom’s diversity and richness. The album serves as a message of gratitude, loyalty, and appreciation from the Bank to the people of Jordan as it marks its 50th anniversary.

The campaign stems from the Bank’s belief that its presence over the past five decades has extended far beyond the provision of banking services. Throughout its journey, JKB has been a partner to individuals, families, businesses, and local communities across the Kingdom. This relationship is reflected in the campaign slogan, “50 Years Among Our People”, which expresses the Bank’s closeness to the communities it serves and its connection to their success stories across Jordan.

The campaign’s key messages were inspired by the lyrics of the songs themselves, with each governorate represented by a distinctive phrase drawn from its dedicated song. This approach extends the spirit of the album into the campaign’s visual identity, creating an integrated creative experience that brings together music, imagery, and storytelling while celebrating the places and people the Bank has remained close to throughout its five-decade journey.

On this occasion, Haethum Buttikhi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Kuwait Bank, emphasized that celebrating 50 years since the Bank’s establishment is not merely an opportunity to reflect back on its achievements, but also a renewed future commitment to continue supporting and empowering individuals, businesses, and the national economy.

He added that the decision to celebrate all of the Kingdom’s governorates through a national music album reflects the Bank’s belief that its success has always been closely linked to its relationship with people. The Golden Jubilee is therefore an occasion to celebrate everyone who has been part of this journey and to renew the Bank’s commitment to delivering meaningful value to communities throughout Jordan.

Buttikhi also noted that the Bank continues to strengthen its presence in Jordan through its branch network across the Kingdom, alongside its regional operations through Jordan Kuwait Bank – Cyprus, Bank of Baghdad, and the Group’s subsidiaries, most notably United Financial Investments Company (UFICO) and Ejara Leasing Company.

Buttikhi concluded by emphasizing that the “50 Years Among Our People” campaign represents a message of pride, gratitude, and appreciation to everyone who has contributed to the Bank’s journey over the past half-century. It embodies the relationship the Bank has built with Jordanian society and reaffirms its commitment to remaining close to people and a partner in their aspirations and success stories for the years to come.

The campaign is being launched as part of a series of initiatives and events organized by Jordan Kuwait Bank to celebrate its Golden Jubilee, reaffirming its commitment to continuing its role as a partner in economic development and strengthening its presence across the Kingdom’s governorates, in line with its enduring promise to always remain among our people and communities.
